Tea Time

I am a huge tea lover if you haven’t already figured it out. I drink a few (which may be an understatement) every day. I used to be a coffee drinker but caffeine is a trigger if you have anxiety, at least for me. If you want to read about my journey of removing caffeine it can be found here. Of all the teas I’ve tried my favorite is The Republic of Tea.

They have so many great options that don’t have caffeine or very low amounts. The ones I suggest are Blackberry Sage which comes in caffeinated and non-caffeinated options, Get Relaxed, and Chamomile Lemon, both great for before bed. Not sure why but when I first started it was hard to find non-caffeinated teas at the local coffee shops, possible that I also had no idea what to look for 🤷‍♀️.

Par Avion Tea

One brand with many options is Par Avion Tea, they have so many great options. You will need an infuser/steeper for most of their products though. I just stumbled upon this brand and I was pleasantly surprised! So far, my go-to is their Hello Bright formula infused with Papaya and Ginger but I cannot wait to try more.

I also have to give a shout-out to one of my local stores, Pinch & Rub. There are quite a few options for teas that are just heavenly. If you have the pleasure of walking into their shop you’ll be in awe of the selection. If you’re looking to try a few my suggestions would be their Carmel Apple and Wild Rose – this one does contain caffeine but a very low dose.

Bellocq Tea

Another great brand is Bellocq. There is so much goodness to find on their site. My favorites are The Queens Guard and Etoile De L’inde, these are a divine floral infuse and my other go-to is Bellocq Breakfast, this one is a bit more earthy but just as flavorful.

I prefer these ones in the morning since they do have some caffeine. They offer a signature bundle, which is how I was able to find my favorites, it includes 5 flavors and 25 filter bags so if you don’t have a steeper no worries! There are so many great tea brands out there and I’m excited to explore and find new favorites. Let me know if there is a brand you just LOVE that I should try!

I will say I find the loose-leaf teas to have much more flavor and I am starting to prefer this method of tea drinking but the bags are just as great!
