What can cause anxiety?

One thing I found in researching anxiety disorders is that there can be a direct correlation between vitamin levels in your body and anxiety. One of the main culprits I came across was low Magnesium levels. I first tried your standard supplement pill but found that it made me so nauseous. Once again, my local Co-op came to my rescue, and I found this fantastic product, Natural Calm.

This is a powder Magnesium supplement I add to my morning tea EVERY day, usually 1 ½ TSP. Let me warn you…this will loosen, um, the number twos. So, I suggest starting with ½ to 1 TSP and seeing how your body responds. The ideal amount is when your poop is soft. I know it’s gross, but trust me, too much, and your office meeting will become really awkward and possibly embarrassing.

You can opt to take this supplement at night. I just find that getting my body mentally and physically under control with my anxiety works best in the morning. This is a great way to naturally calm anxiety. Keep in mind that magnesium can make people drowsy and tired. If you find yourself experiencing these symptoms switch to taking this at night before bed.

Natural Calm Magnesium Supplement to Manage Anxiety

My go-to flavor is Lemon, I pretty much love Lemon everything, but they have other flavors such as Watermelon, cherry, and orange. Some of the flavors also come in gummies or capsules. This supplement can be added to warm water or my preferred tea. There will be some trial and error depending on the flavor of your tea and the flavor of the powder you choose.

I find that the Lemon flavor works well with more fruity teas; stay away from earthy flavors. They just don’t seem to meld well together (at least to this girl’s taste buds).
