Try These Amazing Loose-Leaf Teas From Farmhouse Teas
Birthday Cake Loose Leaf Herbal Tea:
Who does not love some birthday cake?!? The name of this tea alone was the main driver in wanting to try this tea. Very colorful with rich red/brown and striking, contrasting purple hues. This tea is a flavorful herbal tea, so no caffeine, and I can see where the concept of it tasting like cake is coming from. It is not like sipping liquid cake with frosting but more of an interpreted taste of this sweet treat. The rooibos in the blend is made with a hint of vanilla, but I didn’t taste too much of it, and that’s fine by me since vanilla isn’t my favorite. Also, in this loose-leaf tea blend is licorice root. Now, licorice candy I can’t stomach, but I thought maybe it would be tasty in tea. Unfortunately, for me, it still resembled too much of the candied version. So, lesson learned, and now I know I’m not a licorice root tea girl. If you love licorice root, I would recommend trying this colorful birthday cake loose-leaf tea.
Ingredients: Organic Red Rooibos, Organic Licorice Root, Organic Marigolds, Organic Rose Petals, Oregon Grown Bachelor Buttons, Organic Extracts
Coastal Cranberry Spice Loose Leaf Herbal Tea:
Bring on all the smells of fall and winter. This loose-leaf tea smells so delightful! One of the reasons I love Farmhouse Teas is that they use locally grown ingredients whenever they can. The cranberries in this tea blend are homegrown in their state of Oregon AND sweetened with apples 😋. The cinnamon flavor is not overpowering, which I tend to like better. Still, if you are looking for that more robust cinnamon flavor, I would suggest trying another blend or merely adding a cinnamon stick when steeping. If you want to make it into a cocktail, I think this would be tasty as a modified version of a Hot Toddy or Whiskey Sour. This is an herbal tea, so no caffeine, which means it’s good to sip on morning or night.
Ingredients: Organic Hibiscus, Organic Cinnamon, Organic Lemongrass, Oregon Grown Cranberries, Organic Clove, Organic Ginger.
Rose Garden Repose Loose Leaf Herbal Tea:
This loose-leaf tea is gorgeous! The pictures do not do it justice. Full of beautiful lavender, vibrant rose petals, and bright calendula. This is one where I just want to stare at it sitting in a pretty jar; so magical. Out of the three of these, this one is my favorite blend (if you couldn’t tell 😊). I would suggest this as a nighttime tea. It makes you feel very relaxed and calm (thank you, chamomile). It is the perfect way to wind it all down for the day. The note that comes through the strongest would be lavender. In general, this will taste more florally than fruity or earthy, so keep that in mind if floral tastes are not your jam. Because this blend is so beautiful, I have started to think of ways to use it in cooking; I think these would make stunning cookies of some sort, so stay tuned for that fun experiment!
Ingredients: Organic Calendula, Organic Rose Petals, Oregon Grown Lavender Flowers, Organic Chamomile, and Organic Orange Peel.
Why I Love Tea 🍵
That was my quick tea review of my second go around with new teas from Farmhouse Teas. They have an abundance of teas for every preference, so if you are looking to try a new brand, I suggest checking them out. After many years of living with anxiety, I realized how much caffeine from coffee was triggering panic attacks, so that’s when I decided to cut out my daily cup of joe, which I loved and switched to tea; now I’m hooked. Nature offers us a lot of what we need to help us live a balanced life, and tea is just one way that has helped me. If you have any tea brands you want to give a shout-out to, let me know in the comments, I’d love to keep trying new brands. And if you want to take a peek at a few of their other teas I have tried, you can find that blog post here.
Wishing you love, light and inner peace babes ✌🌈✨💜

Many of these flavors sounds great. Not sure of the rose. They are beautiful too. Looks like they’d make great gifts or something special to enjoy myself.

These reviews are very helpful because I am very sensitive to caffeine and cannot drink any caffeinated drinks after 2pm. I usually drink decaf tea at night but these are some other options.

I am an occasional herbal tea drinker, but haven’t ventured away from the general tea bag brands like Celestial Seasonings or Yogi. I should give loose leaf a try! The Coastal Cranberry in particular appeals to me. I love cinnamon!

Being a fan of licorice, the birthday cake tea looks amazing, I’d like to smell it! Because for me, usually the smell is better than the taste.

Oh, yum! So many delicious-sounding teas. I’m only about 1/2 way through the dried hibiscus flowers I brought back from Egypt; they are my new favorites for making herbal tea. There’s a big storm brewing here – makes me think of brewing a pot!

All of those teas look so pretty! I wouldn’t think of liquorice when thinking of birthday cake myself but 🤷♀️ 😹
